Places to visit in Australia

Australia is the smallest continent but big on the experiences. It is the sixth largest country in the world and its varied flora and fauna add to the diversity in experiences and makes the county seem a lot bigger than it is! Culture, adventure, sports, beaches, mountains, deserts there is nothing you can’t experience here. That’s the great thing about this country and Australian tourism it doesn’t mould you according to its character, it understands you and gives you what you want! Now how many countries can say that?!

Australia is divided into seven major territories one more different than the other. We have the Northern territory, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Lets go over the must sees and must do’s in each area and find out why Australian tourism is thriving.

Western Australia

With Perth as its capital, Western Australia occupies the entire western third of the Australian continent. The people are called ‘sandgropers’ after a common desert insect! So what does west Australian Tourism have to offer, let’s find out

Northern Australia

Northern Australia is said to include two state and territories the first being Queensland and the other being the Northern territory. The capital city is Darwin. North Australian Tourism offers adventure like never before. What are the must see places here? Let’s take a look

Northern Territory

• The World of Rock which is located at the Uluru – Kata National Park n Alice Springs. It is the world’s largest rock and extremely iconic.

New South Wales

The most populated part of Australia with the beautiful city of Sydney as its capital. NSW has a lot to offer and Australian Tourism really thrives here. What you can do here

• Make your way to Jervis Bay and see the whitest sand in the world

Victoria

The second most populated state in Australia with Melbourne as its capital. It gets its name from Queen Victoria. Here you must visit Ballart which is just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne. It is home to a great historic event the Eureka Stockade and you can also pan for gold here or maybe visit the museum at night! You can also take a musical train ride on the blues train and Queenscliff for some great food and even greater live music. Once here you must visit the wild fur seal at Philip Island. You love the boat ride and the chance to meet these beautiful, one of a kind animals. At Philip Island you can watch the live version of Happy Feet! You will find groups of little Penguins waddling on the shore after a day of catching fish! In Victoria you can take a drive up the great ocean road or even ski at Mount Buller.
